Operation Reclaim and Rebuild Results in 12 Victims of Human Trafficking Located & Rescued, 36 Suspects Arrested

Over a five-day period, the San Bernardino County Human Trafficking Task Force conducted enforcement. Operations were conducted throughout the county and specifically within the cities of Rancho Cucamonga, San Bernardino, and Victorville. Specific areas were selected for enforcement by investigators, due to the high volume of activity and advertisements directly related to the commercial sex trafficking industry. The operations consisted of street level enforcement, on-line advertisement enforcement and offender enforcement. Over the course of the operation, 36 suspects were arrested for violations associated with prostitution and other crimes. Twelve victims of human trafficking were located and rescued. Four sex traffickers (Pimps) were identified.

If a parent was cruel or mean to child or his spouse, it was over looked by friends and family. They did not want to get involved and practiced the principle of minding their own business.

On January 22, the staff of the Henry County Jail became aware that a female inmate needed urgent medical attention. Despite the efforts of deputies and the Department of Public Security, the prisoner died. Deputies report that they did not see anything unusual during their regular rounds at the beginning of the night. In addition, viewing the videos did not reveal any obvious acts of violence. The deceased inmate was identified as 32-year-old Elizabeth Roxanne Mickles from Martinsville, Virginia.
